M. Ward - There’s a Key

Fun facts about M. Ward:

1. He is the Him of She&Him
2. He’s worked with Bright Eyes, Cat Power, and Neko Case
3. He was part of the trio Rodriguez for six years

I am a huge fan of M. Ward and all his work. I find his music to be so amazingly technical and yet it sounds so simple. It’s absolutely fantastic music to listen to when your relaxing, or stressing and needing to relax.

His new album A Wasteland Companion just came out in the beginning of April and I had the hardest time choosing just one song for tonight. It is all so lovely. My favorite thing about M. Ward is that he has that Americana sound, from his voice to his use of the guitar. It all blends together so perfectly, I can’t stop listening. That part around 1:35? Beautiful. I can’t get enough.

So I’m losing my marbles
